Monterey Films is named for Monterey. It's where I met my wife, Sweety — her hometown, the coastline in the photograph on this page. We founded this studio together in 2021 with one camera and a shared conviction that the days worth remembering deserve better than average coverage.

I run it solo today, by choice. One shooter means one eye, one standard, one consistent edit from the first frame to the last — and it means the person you talk to about your day is the same person who shows up to photograph it.

It's also why I work one service per booking: photography or film, never both at once. One thing done exceptionally beats two done adequately, every time.

I'm based in San Ramon and work across Northern California — American weddings and South Asian celebrations, photographed with equal fluency.
